About
Dr.
Minor:
Personal:
Dr.
Andy Minor comes to Raymore, Missouri all the way from
Amarillo, Texas. When he graduated high school, Andy recognized
his life-long interest in science and mathematics but was still
uncertain about his exact career goals. So, Andy initially took
a job in the Traffic Engineering Department of the Amarillo City
Hall while simultaneously attending night classes. During this
time Dr. Minor became very involved in physical fitness and was
regularly helping others with their fitness goals. As a result
of his interest in science, and his experience with helping himself
and others achieve their health and fitness goals, Dr. Minor decided
that he wanted to pursue a career in a health-related field. Thus,
Andy found himself back in school full-time at Texas Tech University.

biological aspects of the
body as a part of his undergraduate work, Dr. Minor determined that his preferred
career should emphasize a holistic approach to health, involving a respect for
the body’s innate ability to heal itself balanced with an appreciation of
the biological bases of health and illness. At this juncture, Dr. Minor decided
to become a chiropractor and therefore moved to Kansas City in order to attend
Cleveland Chiropractic College.
Moving to
Kansas City not only permitted Dr. Minor to achieve his career goals, but also
allowed him to meet his future wife, Dr. Angela Wozniak Minor. Angela Minor also
is a doctor although her doctorate is in clinical psychology rather than chiropractic
medicine. Thus both Doctor Minors share an appreciation for alternative methods
of emotional and physical healing of the body and mind. Andy and Angie recently
moved to southwest Lee’s Summit and are expecting their first child, a baby
boy, on February 15, 2005.
