Chiropratic Care
The
brain is connected to every cell, tissue, and organ in the entire body, to this
there is no exception. The spinal column and the skull naturally protect the soft
and delicate tissue of the central nervous system from damage. Periodically,
where the nerves exit the spinal column, these delicate nerves can be pinched
off and irritated, affecting everything that the nerve is connected to such
as the heart, liver, lungs, muscles, hands and feet. The pinching of these nerves
is most commonly caused by a misalignment of one or more of the 24 vertebra in
the spinal column. Automobile accidents, trauma, stress, poor posture, sports
injuries and other causes can create these misalignments, which immediately or
over time migrate into the symptoms causing headaches, migraines, back and neck
pain. You can also experience pain, numbness, burning, tingling, and weaknesses
in the shoulders, arms, hands, hips, legs, and feet. Remember each of these
parts must have their communication line to the brain.
Chiropractors
for more than a hundred years have been correcting spinal misalignments and removing
interference from the central nervous system, which yield these painful symptoms.
This allows the bodies natural innate intelligence to heal the body. Medication
such as muscle relaxers and pain killers only temporarily mask or cover up the
symptoms caused by these spinal misalignments.

Chiropractic
(ki-ro-prak-tic)
Greek: Meaning the practice of treatment by the hand. Chiropractic is the
second largest healing profession in the world today and could possibly be the
doctor of the future which Thomas Edison related to so many years ago. Chiropractic
is based on a simple but powerful premise: With a normal functioning spine and
a healthy lifestyle, your body is better able to heal itself. The primary
tool of a chiropractor is spinal manipulation in which pressure is applied to
an area of the spine having a dysfunctional joint (subluxation). The result
is reduced pain and inflammation and the removal of pressure which was on a nerve.
Chiropractic is the only profession dedicated to the detection and correction
of Vertebral Subluxation Complex (VCS).
Chiropractic
doesn’t cure anything, you do!
How safe is a
Chiropractic adjustment?
Chiropractic
is safe and it works. Chiropractic physicians have a safety record that allows
them to enjoy the lowest malpractice insurance rates of all the medical professions.
All 50
states plus the District of Columbia, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico license
Chiropractic Physicians and officially recognize Chiropractic as a health-care
profession. Chiropractic care is recognized by Medicare, and Medicaid and
is listed as a medical deduction underneath the Internal Revenue Code. Chiropractic
Physicians are recognized as primary care providers and often serve as the entry
to the healthcare system.
